Out of curiosity about the microblog ecosystem, I subscribed to write.as. Maybe it's not that cost-effective for a software engineer to subscribe to these kind of micro-SaaS. But I was drawn to its minimalism and quirkiness and couldn't resist giving it a try. I rationalized that if $9 a month is spent to satisfy my curiosity, it must be worth it. So now that I'm here, I'm going to think about the problem that microblog is trying to solve.
Microblog 생태계에 대한 호기심에 write.as를 구독해보았다. 어쩌면 이런 micro saas의 경우에 개발자가 구독하는 것이 그렇게 비용효율적이진 않을 수 있다. 그러나 이 미니멀함과 특이함에 이끌려 써볼 수 밖에 없었다. 한달에 9달러라는 비용이 이정도 호기심 충족하는데 쓰인다면, 그 나름대로의 큰 의미가 있지 않을까 합리화를 해본다. 그래서 이왕 이렇게 된 거, 한번 microblog가 해결하려는 문제에 대해서 생각해보려고 한다.
